Jackson Spalding Growth Continues With Seven New Additions

ATLANTA (October 30, 2012) – Jackson Spalding has seen continued growth  in its client portfolio over the past six months, especially in expanded work with existing clients. The full-service public relations and marketing firm has added seven new full-time hires in recent months, bringing the total new hires in 2012 to fourteen.

“We’re extremely fortunate to have such great relationships with our clients that they continue to ask us to help in other areas,” says Jackson Spalding Co-founder Glen Jackson. “These seven new Jackson Spalding additions already demonstrated great leadership with our clients and have added new dimensions to our culture.  We’re so excited to have them here.”

Ashleigh Daniel, a former high school track star, hit the ground running as an intern at Jackson Spalding in the Spring of 2012 and was hired full-time soon after.  The University of Georgia (Bachelors) and Florida State University (Masters) graduate currently works on a variety of business-to-business accounts focused on law, finance and real estate.

A former elementary school teacher in a past life, Jennifer Font joined Jackson Spalding after working as a print production artist at a global advertising agency and then a full-service designer for a small print production company. The New Jersey native works mainly on the Primrose Schools account, but has helped with Orkin, Echologics and Delta Air Lines as well.

Prior to joining Jackson Spalding, Monik Ladha co-founded and marketed two music promotion companies while enrolled at College of Charleston. He joined our Jackson Spalding Athens office after an internship in mid-2012 and currently works on business-to-business accounts, including Comcast and Orkin. He spent two summers working in Durban, South Africa for the International Trend Institute, learning about branding and strategic planning.

Katherine Mason most recently served as Director of Communications at Leadership DeKalb, an organization that nurtures emerging community leaders who live or work in one of Atlanta’s largest urban counties. She also spent three years at a global P.R. firm, participating in client teams for Fortune 500 companies like Hewlett-Packard (HP), Asbury Automotive and Bayer CropScience.  Katherine is a 2012 graduate of Leadership DeKalb.

A native of Dallas, Ashley Peltier is focused on administrative and organizational needs as the Dallas office manager.  After living coast-to-coast in California and Connecticut, she returned to her hometown where she came to Jackson Spalding first as a temporary assistant, but proved to be invaluable in a short time frame as the Dallas office moved to a new location and was brought on full-time.

A Stamford University graduate, Ashlyn Stallings decided to leave her fulltime position as a marketing coordinator with the national office of Alpha Delta Pi sorority to pursue an internship at Jackson Spalding.  Upon completion of the internship, she was hired full-time and her goal of working for an agency had come to fruition.

Tina Theriault recently joined Jackson Spalding full-time after interning in our Athens office while studying at The University of Georgia (UGA). She played an integral role in the publicity campaign for the firm’s “2011 Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” project, sourcing volunteers and serving as the liaison between ABC production and local media who covered the filming of this nationally-televised show in Northeast Georgia.
