Whitney Ott
Whitney is a bold, curious and energetic team leader and client advisor, with two decades of experience driving integrated PR and marketing results, as well as facilitating messaging and strategic planning sessions for clients across industries. She currently advises and oversees teams delivering high-profile branding, creative, digital and communications projects for The Coca-Cola Company and Maxwell Leadership.
As one of seven co-owners of the agency, Whitney serves as the liaison and executive champion of Jackson Spalding’s Creative; Learning; and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion teams, as well as drives the agency’s strategic and annual planning efforts.
Whitney serves on the Board of Trustees for her alma mater, Agnes Scott College, where she is also the President of the Alumnae Association. She is in the 2022 class of Leadership Atlanta and is an active member of Zoo Atlanta’s Leadership Council.
Formerly, Whitney supported the late Tim Russert on NBC’s “Meet the Press” during the intense news rush following the 9/11 crisis and spent time at CNN where she wrote and produced segments for Headline News. She also served on the boards of the Atlanta chapter of the American Marketing Association and the Rotary Club of Buckhead, where she was an active member for eight years and participated in Rotary’s Group Study Exchange (a four-week cultural immersion program) to Gujarat, India.
A Kentucky native and member of Buckhead Church, Whitney lives in the heart of the city with her husband, Matt, and their three elementary-aged children.
