Veronica works on our teams supporting Chick-fil-A and The Coca-Cola Company. Her role encompasses media relations, issues consulting and project management.
She came to JS from the high-energy environment at the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, where she stayed on her toes as the communications assistant. Her responsibilities ranged from controlling production of marketing collateral to organizing more than 20 media operations volunteers on game day. Her reward for all this meticulous multi-tasking? Huddling alongside Nick Saban and Herschel Walker at the ESPN College Football Awards.
Veronica graduated from the University of Missouri’s esteemed Missouri School of Journalism. She worked all four years as a strategic communications assistant for Mizzou Athletics, supporting game day operations for the football, men’s and women’s basketball and baseball squads. She also was the primary media contact for the men’s and women’s golf teams, among other duties. Suffice it to say, she was always in the press box and never a fan in the stands.
She spent her formative years outside of Washington, D.C., attending Langley High School near CIA headquarters, where it wasn’t unusual to see the Secret Service keeping a watch from the parking lot.
Veronica describes herself as a high-intensity road-tripper who loves to hit the highway for long-distance adventures on the weekends. She funds these spontaneous excursions as a professional dog walker with Wag, whenever wanderlust hits her hard.
