Sarah joined JS as a full-time member of our Chick-fil-A team following her internship. Her current role includes managing the company’s social media, working on new restaurant openings, as well as overseeing and generating content for The Chicken Wire, Chick-fil-A’s blog.
Sarah graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia, majoring in public relations and minoring in Spanish. Prior to graduation, Sarah completed several marketing and PR internships, focusing on social media for the Georgia River Network, public relations for Athens-Ben Epps Airport and media relations for Talking Dog Agency. Originally from Annapolis, M.D., Sarah decided to stay in the south after graduation and moved to Atlanta.
Writing is one of her strong suits. She comes to JS with experience as a weekly contributor for the Red & Black, UGA’s student newspaper, and for the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). She’s also a fledgling novelist, having completed a 50,000-word page-turner that she wrote as part of National Novel Writing Month—also known as NaNoWriMo.
In 2019, Sarah lived with a host family in Seville, Spain, while she studied Advanced Spanish and accrued credits toward her minor. She no longer considers herself proficient conversationally, but she’s still pretty fluent when it comes to reading and writing in Spanish.
