Sarah works on several key JS accounts that tap into her issues management and content generation skills. She came to us by way of New York City, where she kicked off her career at Sloane & Company creating social and digital content and supporting crisis communication projects.
After learning the ropes with several business-to-business clients in the Big Apple, Sarah was ready to move back South and over to the consumer side of PR, which seems well suited to her interest in consumer behavior.
A native of Cumming, Ga., Sarah graduated from the University of Georgia’s Grady College with a degree in Public Relations. She also earned a certificate in Public Affairs Communications, as part of the second cohort focused on the political science and communications hybrid. After volunteering for the professor in charge, Sarah earned a paid fellowship that gave her hands-on experience raising awareness for the nascent program. Her focus on public affairs also led to her internship with Planned Parenthood in Washington, D.C., an eye-opening experience that involved opposition research and grassroots issues management.
