Rachel Chinich
Rachel Chinich
Rachel spent seven years in corporate communications before joining Jackson Spalding’s Dallas office in 2018. She brings a wealth of client-side experience to our consumer and business-to-business accounts, leading our work with Texas Monthly, Interstate Batteries and the Dallas Regional Chamber.
Before joining our Dallas office, Rachel served as the interim director of corporate communications for Republic National Distributing Company. In the span of one year, she advanced from a specialist role to leading the charge on internal and external communications as the wine and spirits company engaged in a major merger.
Before that masterful juggling act, Rachel spent three years in progressively responsible positions at Susan G. Komen’s global headquarters. Her time leading cause marketing with major sports and entertainment partners was especially rewarding because it elevated breast cancer awareness among hard-to-reach audiences.
Rachel began her career with Cox Communications. There, she managed traditional and social media as well as internal communications for the central region’s 4,200 employees. The cross-functional employee communications board she created is now replicated throughout the company, ensuring that corporate messages are resonating across the corporation’s diverse workforce.
A Distinguished Graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Rachel delights in being the lone Sooner in a family herd of Longhorns. Even her cat, Fanta, wears an orange coat.
When she’s not at work, Rachel volunteers with the Junior League of Dallas and enjoys the outdoors with her husband, Justin.
