Born and raised in Atlanta, Mary joins JS as a New Restaurant Event Planner for the Chick-fil-A account. In her role she supports New Restaurant Openings across the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. She is responsible for organizing, planning and executing events and marketing activations, both remotely and on-site.  

Mary discovered her enthusiasm for event planning while attending Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, GA, where she earned her B.A. in Mass Communication.  

After studying abroad in Ireland her junior year, Mary decided to dip her foot in the PR world as an intern for her school’s International Studies Department. This experience fueled her already activated desire for travel, and adventure, even further. Today she feels extremely lucky to be able to nurture her love for travel through her work.  

Mary began her career with Chick-fil-A at a local franchise in Milledgeville, GA, before opening and, eventually, working at a new restaurant in Decatur, GA. After supporting marketing efforts and sales growth at the local level, Mary began at Chick-fil-A, Inc. serving as a New Restaurant Planner for new and existing Owner/Operators across the U.S. As she transitions her role to JS, Mary is excited to continue the work she is so passionate about, while immersing in the JS culture!  

When she’s not busy opening new restaurants, Mary continues to travel as often as she can. Her favorite spots are anywhere in California and Chicago! When she decides to stay put for a minute, you can find Mary attempting to become a white wine connoisseur, meeting her friends or family for a concert or late-night comedy show, and eating copious amounts of burritos and sushi.
