Mark Miller
Mark Miller
A JSer since 1999, Mark Miller brings considerable talent and senior experience to our creative group. He also chairs our firm’s “Green Team,” which promotes environmentally sound practices at our agency.
Mark’s discerning eye and knack for detail has influenced work across the creative spectrum, ranging from corporate identity to Web design. He is especially adept at annual reports and earned an Honorable Mention in the 2008 Hermes Creative Awards for his Post Hope Community Foundation report, commissioned by Post Properties. More recently, Mark led the team whose animated video for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta won a 2011 ADDY Award from the American Federation of Advertising’s Atlanta chapter.
Mark currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA), a commitment that began in the Fall of 2012. Additionally, he is an alumnus of the 2011 class of Art Leaders of Metro Atlanta (ALMA), a program sponsored by the Metro Atlanta Arts & Culture Coalition.
Mark’s skills were honed as an in-house designer at Ernst & Young, where he created and oversaw production of proposals, brochures, logos, posters, booth graphics and other materials. Previously, he spent six years at indelible, inc., a small design firm where he further advanced his skills. He began his career in Chesapeake, VA, designing corporate identity materials for local businesses.
Mark earned a BFA with a concentration in Graphic Design from Radford University in Virginia. He was born in Pittsburgh and travels back every fall to root for the Steelers alongside a handful of his best pals from the old neighborhood.
Today, Mark lives in Peachtree Corners with his wife Anna, daughters Malayna, Cassidy, and Ally, and their dog, Georgia. When the weather cooperates, you may see Mark actively reducing his carbon footprint by cycling to work or long-boarding with fellow JS “board members” during the lunch hour.
