Louie Spivak started at Jackson Spalding as an intern, and now he’s a go-to writer and ideator on our creative and digital teams. It’s his talent for bringing big ideas to life with words that has made him an asset to many of our accounts including Toyota, Gretsch and Primrose Schools.
He’s a Berry College honors grad who earned a B.A. in Public Relations with minors in Psychology and Business. During college, Louie stayed busy with a variety of activities, serving as an orientation leader and a mentor to first-year students on campus.
He also held a number of paid jobs while in school, producing marketing materials for Makervillage Inc., a northwest Georgia start-up community, and for Goodwin Investment Advisory. His involvement with Berry Student Enterprises also gave him a great taste for the business world. He first served as the social media and online store coordinator for 14 student-managed businesses and, later, as the marketing director for the entire program.
Writing is one of his core strengths, no doubt a gift from his late father, a published author who taught creative writing. Louie’s resume includes a stint as a writer for V3 Publications, a feature magazine serving north Georgia.
Louie began life in Ft. Myers, Fla., but spent his formative years in Blairsville, Ga, where he embraced an outdoorsy lifestyle. He sets aside money from every pay check to fund his bucket list goal of visiting every national park in the U.S.
