Kya is a Community Manager on the Chick-fil-A team. In collaboration with her team members, as a Community Manager, Kya plays a role in maintaining the voice of the Chick-fil-A, Inc. brand across their national social media channels.  

Kya started her Chick-fil-A journey in a restaurant as a Marketing Intern at a South Georgia franchise where she helped manage the social media accounts, plan community and children’s events, and work with local organizations for donations. She has held three other marketing internships ranging from social media, agency, and paid media work to working for Buffalo Wild Wings’ loyalty marketing team at Inspire Brands.   

A recent graduate of Kennesaw State University, Kya received a dual degree in Marketing and International Business with a Spanish minor. During her time at KSU, Kya was involved in a broad range of clubs and organizations; most notably, she was a member and section leader for the Saxophone section of the Marching Owls marching band. She was also involved in the Kennesaw Marketing Association (a collegiate chapter of the American Marketing Association) and is now an alum sister of a service sorority.   

Outside of work, Kya enjoys traveling and taking any chance to be adventurous. During Kya’s senior year of college, she had the opportunity to study abroad in Greece. A Florida native, Kya is ecstatic at the opportunity to plant her roots in Atlanta, post-grad, by joining the Jackson Spalding team.
