Kelsey Walker

Kelsey joined Jackson Spalding in 2017 and contributes her media relations skills daily to our Chick-fil-A and Orkin teams.

She joined us after more than two years at Ketchum, where she earned her stripes working on B2B and consumer campaigns for large clients, including Husqvarna, The J.M. Smucker Company and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH).

Kelsey had the honor of publicizing the launch of two new ships for NCLH, and served as a one-woman publicity machine on board the maiden voyage of Seven Seas Explorer from Monte Carlo to Barcelona. This enviable gig included wrangling crews from Entertainment Tonight and People Magazine and coordinating broadcast interviews for the company CEO as the ship plied the Mediterranean.

She began her career at Liz Lapidus Public Relations, working her way up from intern to publicist. Three of her favorite projects there were introducing Kendra Scott & Jonathan Adler stores to the Atlanta market, publicizing the Virginia-Highland Summerfest and not-for-profit work for Jerusalem House.

Kelsey graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications and a minor in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management. She grew up in Alpharetta, Ga., but resides now in Inman Park, where she devotes at least one hour each day to fitness, preferably on the Atlanta BeltLine.

When she was 10-years-old, Kelsey was “slimed” on Nickelodeon. Her grown-up T.V. habit is The Ellen DeGeneres Show. She hasn’t missed an episode in five years.
