Katie is a digital content strategist with expertise in social media, content marketing, organic keyword research and search engine optimization. She supports numerous clients, including Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Chick-fil-A, Primrose Schools, the University of Georgia and others. She’s also a go-to resource for any client experiencing or recovering from a crisis or issue online, bringing a steady hand to online reputation management.
Prior to joining us in 2016, Katie was a regular contributor to the Jones County News in her hometown of Macon, Ga., writing stories about individuals and organizations there. She also served as Communications Director for Camp Grace, a ministry that seeks to transform the lives of underserved, urban youth through an overnight summer camp experience.
A magna cum laude graduate of The University of Georgia, Katie earned bachelor’s degrees in both Public Relations and Religion. During college, Katie completed five internships in public affairs and public relations. She was especially thankful for the time she spent designing digital media for Special Olympics of Jones County, an organization that provides community for her younger brother, an athlete with Down syndrome.
When she’s not reading or writing, Katie can be found watching Georgia football, hiking and spending time with her mentee through Blueprint 58, a community-based mentoring program in Southwest Atlanta. She and husband, Ryan, have put down roots in Atlanta’s Adair Park neighborhood, where they enjoy exploring the Atlanta BeltLine’s Westside Trail.
