Joanna Singleton
Joanna Singleton
Joanna leads Jackson Spalding’s Dallas office and is a co-owner of our agency. She’s a great example of the entrepreneurial spirit that continues to fuel our growth. Joanna launched the Dallas office from her spare bedroom amid the 2009 recession and has been steadily expanding the business and team ever since with an aim to be the most trusted and respected agency in the market.
She has served consumer and B2B clients from large public companies to small startups, working as a trusted advisor in marketing and communications. The Dallas office is proud to support national agency clients such as Toyota, Chick-fil-A and Mattress Firm while also advancing the region through client relationships such as the Dallas Regional Chamber and Texas Monthly. JS Dallas has also been recognized as a Best Place to Work by the Dallas Business Journal.
Along the way, Joanna continued to weave JS Dallas into the cultural fabric of her hometown, donating her time to support to Klyde Warren Park, Fair Park, Dallas Arts Week, JFK Day, Rise of the Rest tour, Ntarupt, Education Opens Doors and many other non-profit friends.
She began working for JS as an intern in the nascent days of our Athens expansion, an experience that gave her a virtual template for planting her own office several years later. Earlier, she worked in the CBS News national political unit in Washington, D.C., and had the distinction of participating in the release of the 9/11 Commission Report.
Joanna graduated magna cum laude from Washington & Lee University, exiting with degrees in Journalism and Spanish as well as a sweetheart who would become her husband. Today, Glenn and Joanna are the proud parents of two children, Penny and Connor, who keep them on their toes with their many activities.
Joanna is on the board of the Thanks-Giving Foundation, a member of the Dallas Regional Chamber’s Experience Council, a graduate of Leadership Dallas Class of 2019 and was named in 2020 to the Dallas Business Journal’s 40 under 40 list and D CEO’s Dallas 500. She is passionate about engaging with other entrepreneurs through her advisory role with InspireMore and meeting with people launching businesses. When it comes time to relax, Joanna finds inspiration spending time with her family and friends or by soaking up the culture in San Miguel de Allende.
