After a year of freelancing in the Atlanta office, Jessi joined the Jackson Spalding team as a full-timer in 2022. She primarily focuses on public relations and communication strategy with the Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Primrose and Orkin teams. Her ability to pour optimism and enthusiasm into every project she takes on makes her a perfect fit for the JS way of life.  

A natural communicator, Jessi enjoys uncovering the unique stories within an organization while building an authentic brand framework to amplify messaging.  

Passionate about entrepreneurship, Jessi co-founded a public relations and digital marketing agency in 2012 where she led her agency’s work for organizations like the Atlanta Press Club, Georgia Organics and Jamestown Properties. She also was able to work with some of Atlanta’s most exciting restaurants, retail, real estate developments, events and nonprofits.  

Jessi earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, with a PR focus and minor in English, from Georgia State University. While in college she was already honing her skills, working with the Live Nation events and marketing team promoting concerts, assisting with day-of-event details and holding down the fort as a member of the entry team at The Tabernacle.  

Jessi isn’t afraid to try something new and is always game for an exciting opportunity. From participating as an inaugural member of the Georgia State University Pantherette’s dance team, teaching indoor cycling classes, creating a brand of original t-shirt designs, and most recently trying her hand at stand-up comedy around Atlanta. 

When she’s not spending time with her husband and daughter in Atlanta, Jessi enjoys trying out new fitness classes, seeing live music, reading, fashion and perfecting her dirty martini.
