Gina (last name is pronounced Pa-TRAL-iya) specializes in media relations for consumer clients, contributing her creative skills to our teams for The Coca-Cola Company, Chick-fil-A and L.L. Bean, among others. She developed a craftiness for landing stories during her two years pitching national media for New York agencies. Her persuasive skills may have been honed much earlier; however, when she built a PowerPoint in middle school to convince her parents on the merits of a Caribbean spring break.
She spent a year on the emerging brands team for Havas Formula and moved on to Zeno Group where she supported big brands like Hershey’s, Panera and Aruba Tourism. Two of her memorable triumphs were the launch of the Birthday Cake Kit-Kat and an Access Hollywood segment she snagged for her client, WAG, the dog-walking app.
A native of Ridgewood, N.J., Gina wanted a West Coast experience for college. She chose Chapman University, a small liberal arts school in Orange County. There, she majored in Public Relations and Advertising and landed her first work experience as an intern—and later a full-timer—at local integrated PR and marketing agency, Idea Hall. During college, she also studied in Cape Town, S.A., making lifelong friends and soaking up the local culture.
Gina came to Atlanta in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic and only spent five days in our office before local health regulations sent us packing. Her friendly and adaptable personality served her well as she settled into virtual agency life as well as her real life near the Shops of Buckhead. She describes her new geography as the perfect fit for her “shop-a-holic” tendencies.
