Gabriana Filice

Even before Gabriana (Gabby) was born, her parents had a hunch she was going to be a chatty one, and they were right. At Jackson Spalding, Gabby uses her gift of gab to support our Chick-fil-A team. Her scope of work includes new restaurant openings, corporate social responsibility initiatives and field support to the Midwest and Northeast regions.

Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area allowed Gabby to experience sunny weather, vast culture and jeans in the workplace way before their time. The California native took a risk—much to her nana’s dismay—and moved across the country to attend Syracuse University where she studied public relations. Four years in the tundra was enough! As it turns out – it’s a lot harder to build a snowman than “Frozen” makes it seem.

After graduation, Gabby journeyed south for her next adventure. Arriving in Atlanta, she had a stint as an intern at The Home Depot working on product PR before moving into account management at Safe-Guard Products. From there, she joined the food and beverage world, spending three years at Inspire Brands on the internal communications team.

Gabby is fascinated by the high risk and intensity of crisis communications and is passionate about employee and internal communications. She is a firm believer that companies should invest in their employees and enjoys curating and fostering company culture. Chili cook-off anyone?

Some items on Gabby’s bucket list include: hugging a koala, visiting Japan and going off the grid. Oh, and when she’s not working, you can find her running, listening to podcasts or traveling the globe.
