Erin, whose last name rhymes with Jeeves, is living proof that it pays to be a nice boss. She joined us on the recommendation of her former intern, who now works for JS Dallas.
A media relations maven, Erin leads the earned media relations strategy for our Primrose Schools account. She also consults with other client teams looking for top-tier reporter connections.
Before moving to Atlanta, Erin spent four years in Weber Shandwick’s Dallas office where she began as an account executive supporting key General Motors brands, Chevy and Cadillac. She progressed up to Manager level, eventually leading Verizon’s media and influencer relations across eight states. In that position, Erin shepherded the brand through major events such as Hurricane Harvey response and recovery, Super Bowl XLI, the launch of 5G and the unveiling of many of America’s favorite devices.
Prior experience includes Hill + Knowlton Strategies, where she was embedded full-time at AT&T Corporate Headquarters, and Southwest Airlines, her career-starting internship. So far, her most unique PR project was the launch of the pecan industry’s first-ever consumer facing brand, American Pecans, The Original Supernut™ through her work with the American Pecan Council.
Erin is a native of Galveston Island and proud of her Texas roots. While at The University of Texas at Austin, she earned a B.S. in Public Relations and a Certificate of Applied Mathematics. This second degree was a nod to her math teacher Mom, who clearly did not let homework slide.
In fact, in her spare time Erin volunteers as an online math tutor, helping high school freshmen improve their algebra scores. She also loves to cook, sampling recipes from her Swedish-Brazilian heritage.
A self-described maverick, Erin was also once the placekicker for her high school football team.
