Emma joined Jackson Spalding’s public relations and issues management teams in early 2022. She serves our clients best by providing strategic communications plans to bring awareness and growth to brands.  

Prior to joining JS, Emma worked in the political field as a press and communications assistant for a gubernational candidate in Maryland, and a senatorial candidate in Montana. She learned the ropes of the fast-paced political world working in a press role in the Senate on Capitol Hill. There, Emma says, she learned the importance of consistent positive messaging and how to build positive rhetoric in the media.  

Emma graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in History and Arab and Muslim Studies. She also boasts the honor of being one of UM’s inaugural members of the women’s lacrosse team! 

Now as a transplant to Atlanta, Emma keeps up her active lifestyle by exploring the city on foot and checking out the city’s landmarks on her runs.
