Emily Goodhart
Emily Goodhart
Emily started at Jackson Spalding in 2017 and has quickly become a go-to team member for media relations, content marketing, social media and web. She’s worked extensively with Primrose Schools, Chick-fil-A, NPRC and also supports project work for our crisis and sports teams.
A first-generation college graduate, Emily earned dual degrees in Public Relations and English from the University of Georgia. Her impressive college résumé included earning scholarships all four years, studying abroad in China and England, and graduating magna cum laude from the school’s Honors College.
Emily was a member of the Gamma Sigma Sigma national service sorority while at UGA, and her volunteer work with the Athens Humane Society included fostering dogs. She also spent three years as an editorial assistant with The Georgia Review, the university’s literary magazine. Following graduation, she landed a prestigious internship with The Coca-Cola Company, where she assisted on several integrated marketing and media relations campaigns as part of their Brand and Business Communications team.
In her free time, Emily enjoys reading everything from fantasy books to history. She’s also a huge sports fan, especially when it comes to basketball and football. This extends to her two favorite movies, “Glory Road” and “Remember the Titans.”
Emily was resourceful from a young age, deciding on her own to go to Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School in sixth grade. She has held a wide variety of part-time jobs, including working at an apple orchard, a recycling center, a summer camp, a catering company and a coffee shop. Today, she’s a firm believer in paying forward the kindness that helped her get to where she is, and she ascribes to the motto, “Where there’s a will, there’s a way.”
