Cody Bass

When Cody Bass is in the room, the mood tends to elevate and smiles become contagious.  He’s just that kind of guy.

Cody joined our agency as an intern in late 2017 and soon proved to be a keeper. He works for our Rollins team, providing support on trade shows, content strategy and email marketing campaigns. He says he feels lucky to be assigned to a large piece of business with lots of moving parts.

Challenges are energizing for him, which is why he spent the summer after graduation in Washington, D.C., interning for SP Consulting alongside seasoned business counselors. Earlier, he served as a corporate development intern for the Montgomery (Alabama) Chamber of Commerce, an experience that helped him understand the motivations behind corporate relocations.

Cody is a proud graduate of Auburn University, where he was tagged as an OFA (originally from Auburn – his family has lived there for generations) and a BMOC (big man on campus). He served two terms as a senator in the Student Government Association, three years as a distinguished Plainsmen ambassador, and three years as a news anchor for EagleEye TV.  He also held several work-study positions, including one in the office of the university’s president.

Because of his leadership, grade point and character, Cody was inducted into the SPADE Honorary Society, recognition reserved for the 10 most outstanding students in the senior class.  He graduated with a B.A. in Media Studies and a minor in Marketing, originally thinking that he might pursue work in television or radio news.

As you might imagine, Cody stays busy inside and outside our office. He’s addicted to Insanity workouts, volunteers with the local Alpha Phi Alpha chapter and will soon launch Shook: The Podcast, focused on tips for Millennials.
