Cailen Chinn

Cailen joined Jackson Spalding full-time following an internship after graduating from Emory University. Her mentality has always been to put your head down, care about your work and lead by example—an attitude that helped her turn that internship into a full-time role just one month after starting at JS. She now supports new restaurant openings and articulates Chick-fil-A’s brand voice by sharing joy on social media as a community manager.

Prior to JS, Cailen honed her skills as a brand intern at a boutique video ad agency, where she crafted creative briefs, pitches, scripts, shot lists, and led clients’ visions from start to finish.

Cailen graduated with a dual degree in film & media management, and French from Emory in 2022. As a student, she served as the Chief of Digital Operations (a title she created!) for The Emory Wheel, Emory’s independent student newspaper. As CDO, Cailen’s biggest accomplishment was winning “Best Podcast” in the Southeast Region from the Society of Professional Journalists for her production of Wheel Talk, the Wheel’s first audio-journalism endeavor. She was also a member of Emory’s varsity swim team, capturing national and conference titles, a team record, and multiple All-American honors by the end of her senior season. She’s currently the head coach of Emory’s Eagle Swim Club.

When she’s not on deck or at the office, she’s training for triathlons, trying new restaurants and tasting coffee all around Atlanta (check out @cailendrinkscoffee for details!).
