Alex Nikitin

After getting his foot in the door at Chick-fil-A’s franchise level restaurant in Athens, GA, Alex joined the Chick-fil-A account team at Jackson Spalding.  He combines his love for sports and public relations by supporting our sports practice and working on our Naismith and LakePoint sports accounts. His overall work includes public relations, public affairs, reputation and issues management.

The Marietta, GA native graduated from his dream school, The University of Georgia, with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in History. He also earned a certificate in sports media. While at UGA, he worked several sports industry internships, including being a student assistant for the athletic department’s Office of Sports Communications. In this role, he worked primarily with the football and men’s basketball programs facilitating press conferences, updating gameday press materials, and hosting media at venues. He also spent time with Atlanta United FC, followed by his work with the Southeastern Conference and the 2019 SEC Championship game. While working for UGA’s athletic department Alex’s favorite memories include hosting celebrities and sports personalities such as Tim Tebow, Ric Flair, and the Migos’ Quavo (he even got to ride in his car!).

Alex grew up watching sports and is a self-proclaimed “sucker” for Atlanta sports. So, after years of let-downs and close calls, few fans were happier than Alex to watch both the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldog Football win championships in 2021.

Alex continues to check off his bucket list which includes travel and big events, including attending each of the five major sports championships!
