Aerolyn Shaw
Aerolyn Shaw
Based in Atlanta, Aerolyn brings her years of consumer and digital experience to JS as our Social Media Strategist. In this role, she supports all account teams with their social media and influencer marketing strategy needs.
Aerolyn began her foray into the world of communications at Valdosta State University where she earned her bachelor’s in public relations while leading the VSU PRSSA chapter as VP for two years. During her tenure she was also inducted into the National Communications Honor Society. After completing four internships in sectors ranging from government to fashion, she knew social media was where her passions lay. Having graduated when Instagram was only two years old, she accepted her first full-time role with a boutique social media agency and thus a career was born.
It was there that she took her experience with social media a step further and dove into the budding world of influencer marketing by supporting clients such as the High Museum of Art, Macy’s and the Atlanta Women’s Foundation. Building upon this experience, her next career stop allowed her to hone her social media, influencer relations, media relations, measurement and event planning skills with clients like White House Black Market, Habitat for Humanity, Bayer Crop Science and Vidalia Onions. She has also led accounts for Harry Potter New York, Barefoot Wines, Torrid and Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood.
When Aerolyn isn’t crafting strategies and vetting influencers, you can find her curled up with her two cats, Silas and Covey, and working to stay on top of her yearly reading goal. She also loves attending concerts, having been to nearly 100. She resides in downtown Atlanta with her fiancé.
