Nonprofit

Working with more than 60 nonprofit organizations annually, Jackson Spalding has experience supporting organizations focused on the environment, youth, humanitarian aid, education, health, arts and culture, faith and recreation. From local foundations and charities to national and international nonprofits, Jackson Spalding is honored to support organizations of all shapes and sizes. Our team is experienced in yielding results for nonprofits and their corporate partners by developing and promoting strategic corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs and initiatives.

Effective nonprofit communication requires that an organization make its story and mission relatable, tangible, empowering and outcome-focused. We keep this in mind as we plan and implement donor communications, including fundraisers and capital campaigns; short-term promotions, including behavior change marketing and milestone recognition; and issues management strategy, including crisis planning and response.

Beloved Benefit

The Chick-fil-A Foundation team approached Jackson Spalding to define the strategy and develop the concept for a new fundraiser that would support multiple Atlanta-based nonprofits. Over the course of nearly two years, our team helped plan the inaugural 2019 event to unite more than 15 nonprofits and dozens of businesses. The Beloved Benefit raised more than $5 million for organizations serving Atlanta’s Westside community.

East Lake Foundation

The East Lake neighborhood serves as a national model for community revitalization, and Jackson Spalding has supported the East Lake Foundation’s mission to create opportunities for those who live there through fundraising, donor communication and media relations since 2013. The foundation's efforts have contributed to a 97% reduction of violent crime over the course of two decades, and East Lake's high school graduation rates soared from an average of 30% to 100% for its first senior class at Drew Charter School.

Lyda Hill Philanthropies

Lyda Hill Philanthropies sought out Jackson Spalding to announce its $25 million commitment to support women in STEM and launch its new IF/THEN initiative. Our team led the charge to help plan a landmark event for more than 200 thought leaders and changemakers at the American Museum of Natural History in New York. During the announcement, we tweeted and shared live Instagram Stories, growing the audience by 200%. This coverage was complemented by media outreach efforts that totaled 86 million Opportunities to See (OTS).
