Buckhead Atlanta

After a three-year stall in the redevelopment of the $1 billion, 8-acre multi-use development in Atlanta, the unfinished construction site had become a national symbol of the economic recession. Years later, OliverMcMillan began construction once more and turned to Jackson Spalding to strategically strengthen positive sentiment around Buckhead Atlanta and build trust within the community that the development would be thoughtfully completed.
Client Impact

Klyde Warren Park

Jackson Spalding provided Klyde Warren Park, a 5-acre deck park in Dallas, Texas, with dedicated marketing communications support from pre-construction through grand opening. The agency developed strategy, messaging, media relations, event planning and more. From supporting the capital campaign to building public trust, it was a privilege to advance the catalytic project. The park opened in Dallas in October 2012 to more than 44,000 people and rave reviews.

Cousins Properties

Jackson Spalding helped establish overarching corporate strategy as well as single-property strategy for Cousins through media, broker and community relations. For example, we worked with the real estate investment trust to reposition Atlanta’s Midtown Promenade and expand occupancy from 58% to 90%. We achieved this through public relations tactics that included broker events and an "artist-in-residence" program that connected the building to a higher aspiration and vision. We have also collaborated with Cousins Properties on projects in Texas, Florida and North Carolina.

Monogram Residential Trust

Monogram, a new REIT with high-quality Class-A assets in select core markets, tasked Jackson Spalding with increasing awareness of its unique approach to investing. The agency developed a steady cadence of media opportunities, as well as custom events for both media and potential residents to achieve this goal. After several years of consistent reputation-building efforts, Monogram went public eight years after its founding and sold to Greystar and APG Asset management for an estimated $3 billion dollars.
