The practice of influencer relations relies on building relationships — based on shared goals and common values — between brands and independent parties with an existing digital footprint (i.e. influence) that can measurably impact the behavior of your intended audience (i.e. their peers). According to Nielsen, 90% of consumers trust peer recommendations, while only 33% trust traditional ads. This means the messages shared by influencers go a long way, and are therefore a successful way to inspire impactful experiences for your consumer.

By partnering with influencers of all shapes and sizes – from Andi Dorfman of The Bachelorette to a hedgehog named Atticus – we are able to generate custom content on behalf of Mattress Firm via blogs and social channels that can be repurposed by the brand. Through UTM and liketoknow.it affiliate links, we are able to track the consumer journey to measure conversions and quantify ROI.

Google Home - Mini Golf Pop-Up

To increase awareness for its Google Home Mini Golf Pop-Up Tour and Google Home capabilities, Google sought to collaborate with local social media influencers and media. The goal was to promote the event and illustrate how Google Home can improve people’s everyday lives.

The Results

In addition to partnering with local tech and broadcast media, we enlisted 22 lifestyle, parenting and tech influencers to invite Atlantans to experience the capabilities of Google Home. While media promoted the Google Home Mini Golf event, influencers shared their experience on the course and invited their followers to come see the attraction for themselves.

Orkin - Bed Bug Influencer Campaign

With the goal of bolstering brand awareness and engagement among travel-loving millennials, Orkin connected with travel bloggers and asked them to share tips on how to protect yourself from bed bugs during hotel stays.

The Results

Influencer partners used multiple social channels to highlight bed bug protection to their respective audiences. Content included travel hacks and tips for before, during and after travel. Orkin also distributed surprise gift boxes – bed bug protection travel kits – to additional influencers to build relationships and potentially gain earned coverage on their social channels.

Toyota Top 10

The world’s largest automotive manufacturer wanted to: 1) form lasting relationships with local market influencers to pave the way for future partnerships; and 2) build brand awareness and highlight select vehicles. So, we helped them identify influencers with highly engaged, local followers. In Tampa, we launched the #ToyotaTop10 campaign, which highlighted the Corolla and RAV4 by putting 10 Tampa-based influencers behind the wheel of the vehicles for a week. To play up the “Top 10” theme of the campaign, we designed a magazine highlighting a list of Top 10 Tampa attractions.

The Results

The campaign garnered almost 3 million impressions in just one week, and Toyota has re-engaged several of the influencers for follow-up vehicle loans and reviews.
