Feel-Good Healthcare Campaign Celebrates Generosity

Social media video series helps generate critical donations

Overview

As a health system governed by its mission to make a positive difference in every life it touches, Piedmont Healthcare needed the support of generous corporate and individual donors for funds and essential resources during the COVID-19 pandemic. Hospitals and health systems across the world were stretched thin, working tirelessly to maintain dwindling supplies and manage capacity throughout this unprecedented crisis.

Piedmont, one of Georgia’s largest health systems caring for COVID-19 patients statewide, received an outpouring of support from across the community, including from private sector donors like The Home Depot, SPANX, Rooms To Go and others. This kind of corporate support played an important role in Piedmont’s ability to effectively respond — from securing additional essential resources like personal protective equipment to preparing overflow ICU space for the influx of patients.
