Behind the Scenes with Jackson Spalding

On the morning of July 10, Anaiah Rucker, her mother Andrea, and her sisters, were greeted by host Ty Pennington and the rest of the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition design crew for the beginning of a whirlwind week that united a community and changed the family’s life forever.

A fifth-grader, Anaiah is a smart, fun, athletic, straight-A student who, at the age of nine, saved her little sister, Camry, by pushing her out of the path of an oncoming truck. Anaiah was severely injured in the accident, but has fought her way back thanks to her spirit, her family's love and her community's support.

Jackson Spalding worked until long after the last nail was hammered to manage local communications for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition’s Northeast Georgia Build.
