Jackson Spalding Launches JS Cultivation
Welcomes New Team Member
ATLANTA- Jackson Spalding, the image creation, cultivation and communications firm with offices in Atlanta and Athens, Ga., has launched its third division - JS Cultivation. The new division, which joins JS Communication and JS Creative, provides highly customized communications training for clients and will further strengthen the firm's core business of helping businesses communicate more effectively.
The branding of Jackson Spalding's media and speaker training practice as JS Cultivation comes in tandem with the firm's hiring of Emmy award-winning reporter Blair Meeks, who has been on-air for 20 years. Meeks came from WXIA-TV, where he was a general assignment reporter. He won two Southern Regional Emmys with WXIA, and three Rocky Mountain Regional Emmys with KPNX-TV in Phoenix.
"JS Cultivation operates on the simple philosophy that business leaders need to effectively communicate in all media - print, radio, television and certainly live public forums," said Glen Jackson, co founder of Jackson Spalding. "Leaders must cultivate and continually practice these skills to connect with their audiences and build trust."
The new division provides custom training with communications strategists who know the ins and outs of every audience. Sessions simulate press conferences, on-site media interviews, issues management planning, public speaking, message creation and more.
JS Cultivation's communications strategists are former journalists and accomplished speakers who have managed challenging client situations. The team is led by Trudy Kremer, who has been counseling clients such as Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Publix Super Markets and Orkin Pest Control with Jackson Spalding for eight years. Prior to Jackson Spalding, she was a researcher and producer for NBC Nightly News in New York and for the TODAY Show and MSNBC out of NBC's national news bureau in Atlanta.
The JS Cultivation team has prepared clients for media such as The Oprah Winfrey Show, Larry King Live, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. And, they have helped clients prepare to perform at large trade shows, awards ceremonies, public town hall meetings and shareholder summits.
"Organizations that communicate clearly have a much higher chance of success," said co-founder Bo Spalding. "JS Cultivation helps our clients communicate their key messages with confidence and impact."
