Jackson Spalding Adds Kristal McKanders
Silver Anvil Winner Will Join Chick-fil-A Team
ATLANTA (February 11, 2010) – Jackson Spalding, the Atlanta-based image creation, cultivation and communications firm, added Kristal McKanders to its public relations team in early February. McKanders will work on a number of consumer accounts, including Chick-fil-A.
She brings experience as a radio and television reporter as well as more recent public relations skills from counseling national consumer companies such as Best Buy, McDonald’s and Porsche Cars North America.

McKanders graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Spelman College. She also earned her Masters in Journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. McKanders was part of the team that won two Silver Anvil Awards of Excellence from the Public Relations Society of America for work supporting the Best Buy Corporation.
She is a native of Michigan who now resides in DeKalb County.
