Tamestrius McWhorter

Tamestrius is a key player on our administrative team, handling all the human resource details for our staff.

Prior to joining us she worked for Argyle Solutions, an accounts receivables firm, where she managed benefit and payroll administration, employee relations and recruiting.

She is a native of Athens, Ga., which is a happy coincidence for us, since we have a growing office there. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Consumer Sciences from the University of Georgia and a Master of Public Administration degree from Piedmont College. In addition, she earned a Human Resources Generalist Certificate from Kennesaw State University and is working toward a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Troy University.

Tamestrius is a member of the Atlanta chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management and the National Association for African Americans in Human Resources.

She enjoys mentoring young people on the importance of education and spends extra time in the mentor role with nephew Jaylen, and her two god-children, Elijah and Lauryn. In her spare time she loves watching the Braves, listening to jazz and taking in a good movie. As far as she knows, she is the only Tamestrius in the world, and she keeps meaning to ask her parents about the silent “s” in the middle of her name.
