Bari Love
Bari Love has worked in public relations and marketing for more than 20 years. Her agency experience includes several years as managing director of Ogilvy Public Relations Atlanta where she oversaw strategic direction for clients such as Steifel Laboratories, Lipton, and Burger King.
Prior to that, she spent seven years as executive vice president at one of the Southeast's largest integrated marketing agencies, where she established and built a public relations division that became one of Atlanta's most respected. Her client work has garnered a number of awards including the PRSA Phoenix Award for the Georgia DHR’s HIV/AIDS campaign, and Phoenix Awards for programs supporting IPOs for ChoicePoint and PTEK. She also earned the PR Week “Product Brand Development Campaign of the Year” for Lady Precept, a golf ball marketed to female golfers.
Bari graduated cum laude from the University of Alabama with a degree in Political Science, thinking that she would spend her career inside the Beltway, serving in Congress. A summer working on Capitol Hill dissuaded her of this notion and sent her back to Alabama where she spent four years as a travel writer for Southern Living. She has more than 300 published articles and photographs to her credit.
Never satisfied to rest on her considerable laurels, Bari earned a certificate from the Georgia Tech Management Institute and is also an alumna of the Buckhead Business Association Leadership Development Program and the 2006 Class of Leadership Atlanta. She is a former President of the Public Relations Society of Georgia and is on the boards of ACCION USA, Starlight-Starbright Children's Foundation and Leadership Atlanta.
A resident of Dunwoody, Bari enjoys scuba diving, golfing and tennis with husband, Rusty. They are empty nesters with sons who’ve made them very proud at the University of Virginia and the University of Florida.
