Ivy Le
Ivy joined Jackson Spalding Athens in 2008, bringing a resume steeped in world travel and scholarly accomplishment. She works on both consumer and business-to-business accounts, using her considerable skills in media pitching, writing, and research.
Her last career stop was at an international public relations firm where she worked for two years in the Corporate Reputation Management and Multicultural practice groups. Past clients include Georgia Allies, Cathay Pacific, Newell Rubbermaid, AT&T, and Mitel. She has scored stories in magazines such as Business Week and The Economist and won a Bronze Anvil award for her media relations work on the launch of Novelis Fusion, an innovative aluminum alloy.
Ivy graduated with honors from the University of Georgia with dual degrees in political science and journalism. She was a prestigious Foundation Fellow, which afforded her opportunities to study around the world. She focused on the European Union in Cambridge, England, minority issues in Budapest, Hungary and economics in Buenos Aires, Argentina where she hosted the country’ s first hip hop festival. While at UGA, she was an intern and ambassador at the Center for International Trade and Security and at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Budapest. She is conversationally fluent in English, Spanish, German and Vietnamese.
Her passion, aside from world affairs, is poetry, which she dreams up and dreams about in multiple languages. She is a member of Poetry Atlanta, Poetry at Tech and a regular performer at local coffee houses where she merges her love of language and rhythm.
