Jim Jaquish
Jim Jaquish is a talented writer, with a strong background in both internal and external communications. He brings a unique and diverse set of skills to the clients of Jackson Spalding, including a broad understanding of employee communications.
Prior to joining Jackson Spalding, Jim was a communications consultant with Buck Consultants, an international human resources consulting firm. Jim developed and implemented award-winning internal communication strategies for CVS/pharmacy, Bowne & Co., LabCorp, Johns Hopkins Health System, and others. While at Buck, he directed several integrated communications campaigns, combining excellent writing with visual images and the use of online and offline media.
Before that, Jim sharpened his acumen for writing quickly as a reporter and editor for a variety of daily and weekly newspapers. He ended his six-year journalism career as the Associate Managing Editor at The Daily Tribune News in Cartersville. He also knows radio. A high school gig as a costumed mascot for an AM station turned into a stint as an on-air personality during college.
Jim sits on the Communications and Public Affairs Committee of the Atlanta Regional Commission and is a board member for The Frazer Center. He is a graduate of Berry College, where he met his wife, Niki. They enjoy spending time outdoors with their two sons. Jim is an Eagle Scout who grew up on an East Tennessee cattle farm and was once excused for his tardiness to school because he was helping a cow give birth.
