Atlanta
Hayley Hutchins
Hayley joined Jackson Spalding in 2008 following three very different internships focused on writing, pitching and event planning. She uses all of these skills as she supports our transportation and business-to-business accounts.
A magna cum laude graduate of Vanderbilt University, Hayley majored in Human and Organizational Development, which afforded her the opportunity to take the Meyers-Briggs skills assessment test. The test revealed her knack for writing, so she declared Communications as her minor, setting her sights on public relations.
Her first internship was with a national events management firm that put her on staff for the Michael Jordan Golf Tournament and the Sony PlayStation® Conference. Next she worked in corporate communications for Genesco, helping with internal communications, and investor relations. Her last stop, with a Nashville PR firm, sealed her career choice, giving her direct experience with customer communications for a healthcare provider.
Hayley spent five weeks in the shadow of Rome’s Coliseum, studying art history and drawing while soaking up the city’s storied past. She’d like to return one day, but is glad to be back stateside in the city where she was born.
Though she lived in Atlanta as a child, she spent her formative years in Ft. Myers, Fla. During high school she spent as much time as possible running amidst the soothing dunes of Sanibel Island. She continues to make tracks in Atlanta — both at Jackson Spalding and in her hopes to gear up for a marathon.
