Ansley Fetz
Ansley completed a strengths assessment in college that defined her as a strategic, competitive, persuasive, “activator.” Good thing she was already on track to study marketing and public relations. She puts these attributes - and more - to work every day for consumer and business-to-business clients.
Although she attended Furman University for two years as a political science major, she ultimately graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor of arts in communications and a minor in business. The large university setting and the expansive curriculum were both a good match for her outgoing, action-oriented personality.
During college she completed a number of internships including a summer writing and researching projects for The Georgia Family Council, which gave her exposure to lobbying work. She also spent time in the corporate marketing department of Chick-Fil-A, Inc. There, she received hands-on experience planning “Cow Appreciation Day” for the 800 headquarters employees, staffed corporate events and managed the development of point-of-purchase and in-store materials.
Ansley had the honor of dropping Chick-Fil-A plush toys from the top of the Georgia Dome during the 2007 Chick-Fil-A Bowl. She remembers this occasion fondly since it combined her love of event planning, with her devotion to Auburn Football.
Among her friends, Ansley is known as the go-to organizer. That probably explains why her dream job would be as an uber-celebrity wedding planner. When events aren’t on her calendar you can find her curled up watching one of the 33 Elvis movies in her collection.
