Carrie England
Carrie England touches many accounts at Jackson Spalding as a team leader and strategic counselor. She is a key facilitator for client training initiatives, often leading workshops on media training and public speaking. Given her talent for teaching, it is fitting that she also chairs our New Employee Orientation Team, which helps shorten the learning curve for new Jackson Spalding members.
Carrie provides strategic counsel for Orkin, Inc., one of our largest clients, after leading the account for two years. Her work for Orkin has helped earn several prestigious industry awards, including a 2003 PRSA Bronze Anvil Certificate of Commendation and a 2007 PRSA|GA Phoenix Award. Carrie also has leveraged her relationships and media insights for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Georgia Research Alliance and Publix, to name a few others.
She came to Jackson Spalding from Spanx, Inc., an innovative hosiery company, where she helped garner national and local press for two product launches. Earlier in her career, Carrie worked as crewmember and spokesperson for the Hershey’s Kissmobile, a mobile marketing vehicle, to generate brand awareness for Hershey’s Kisses.
Carrie is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of South Carolina Honors College and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a minor in English. A member of the Public Relations Society of America, she served as chair of the Georgia chapter’s monthly meetings committee from 2006–2008.
In her free time, Carrie enjoys exercising, playing tennis, reading, watching movies and traveling. Jackson Spalding recently honored her as the first recipient of our Public Relations Organisation International exchange, recognition that will take her to The Netherlands in 2008.
