MARY DYKES

Mary is the account executive who manages the Primrose Schools national advertising account at Jackson Spalding. She hit the ground running as soon as she got here in 2011, thanks to her experience in account management and media buying at marketing firms in Atlanta and Charlotte.

Past clients have included the NASCAR Hall of Fame, Springmaid and the North Carolina Education Lottery.

She graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) with a degree in Mass Communication, Advertising and a minor in Sociology. While there, she was active in the student chapter of the American Advertising Federation and was a part of the creative team that received “Best Promotional Campaign” honors at the National Student Advertising Competition.

Mary hails from Mandeville, Louisiana, a small town across Lake Pontchartrain from New Orleans. This means that she loves music, makes a great fried shrimp po’ boy and grew up thinking that Mardi Gras was a national holiday.

A member of the Atlanta Ad Club, Mary is currently on the planning committee for the annual ADDYs Awards celebration. She lives in Atlanta’s Peachtree Hills, but ventures around town to try local food and events, especially Sunday night bocce ball, and any gathering that calls for her to shout “Geaux Tigers!”
