Mary joined our accounting team in 2007, bringing more than 15 years of financial experience from a variety of business sectors. In fact, her career stops in real estate, manufacturing and consulting match up well with our client roster. Her path to accounting began in Florida where she started out in retail and quickly gravitated to budgeting, inventory and cash flow operations.

She’s seen a lot of invoices over the years, but those she processed for celebrity expenses and movie props while working in the corporate office of Planet Hollywood are probably the most memorable.

Mary grew up in Akron, Ohio, back when it was the tire capital of the world. As a result, she says she can’t help but feel nostalgic every time she sees the Goodyear Blimp. She attended the University of Akron, but continued her studies at the University of Central Florida in Orlando where she joined her mother to bypass Midwest winters.

While there, she met her husband, Steve, and they relocated to Atlanta.

Early on, Mary thought she might pursue social work, but she’s done enough globetrotting to know that her fantasy job would definitely include travel. Her favorite trip involved a birthday spent with breakfast in Italy, lunch in Austria and dinner in Germany.
