Leticia came to Jackson Spalding after honing her skills for almost a decade on both the client and agency side. She’s a seasoned media maven who regularly contributes to our Chick-fil-A and Rollins teams and also consults on projects that call for speed-dial to her national media contacts.
Prior to joining us, Leticia spent four years in D.C., working most recently as Media Relations Manager for the U.S. Green Building Council. In that role, she revamped their online newsroom, organized international conferences and oversaw internal and external marketing support. Earlier, she worked for Gallup, generating content, media coverage and managing their speakers’ bureau. It was here that she developed many top-tier media connections, working closely with reporters from the likes of NBC, USA Today and Associated Press.
Leticia began her career in Miami, serving first as Communications Manager for the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce and later as an Account Executive for rbb Communications. During her time at rbb, Leticia supported consumer, business-to-business and not-for-profit clients, earning a Gold Sabre, one of our industry’s top awards.
She pursued an undergraduate degree in Mass Media Arts-Radio/TV/Film at Clark Atlanta University and earned a Master of Arts in Journalism & Mass Communications from the University of Georgia. Most recently, she completed online management training through Harvard ManageMentor.
By now you get the idea that Leticia is a high-achiever, but she says her best achievement to date is her young son, who takes up much of her free time. Other interests include crafting and DIY projects, party planning and reading thrillers.
