Kendall joined our Dallas team in 2016, happy to return to the Texas roots that nurtured her childhood before she moved to Detroit, Atlanta and beyond.  She contributes to media relations and content creation programs for Mattress Firm. Kendall is especially jazzed to work on the company’s foster care campaign featuring Olympian Simone Biles, since she also spent years on the balance beam as a competitive gymnast.

A proud graduate of the University of South Carolina, Kendall majored in Public Relations and made the Dean’s List all four years. Prior to joining us, she gained professional experience as an intern at The Richards Group, working on big-name home appliance brands, and at Strauss Marketing and Public Relations, where she helped promote restaurant clients.

During college, Kendall was a brand ambassador for Kites & Ivy, a Charlotte-based subscription box company geared to the college market. She co-chaired the company’s Instagram team and was recognized as one of its top five sales interns across the country.

Her world view expanded considerably in high school with AP studies in Spain and a 9-day mission trip to Kenya.  After meeting with teens in many villages there, she concluded that young people share common problems and concerns, even if their communities look very different.

Now that she’s back in Dallas, Kendall is enjoying making old and new friend connections through spin class and jogs around the neighborhood.
