Talented People but it’s the character that counts

John is a JS graphic designer who spends most of his time day-dreaming about all the cool places that Delta Air Lines travels. That’s okay with us, since he’s charged each week with the creation of print ads and emails about the airline’s featured destinations.

Prior to joining our crew in 2016, John spent four years as a visual content lead at Nebo, an Atlanta-based digital agency. While there, his work racked up Atlanta Marketer of the Year nods for Best Search Marketing Campaign (Pure TalkUSA) and Best Paid Media Campaign (GSMA) and a Gold Communicator Award for information architecture (Foundation Tech).

John actually graduated with a B.A. in Journalism from The University of Georgia, but he started out as an art major. This duality of focus has served him well on the digital side and has made him a go-to guy for client infographics.

During college, John co-founded the largest film club on campus and studied abroad in New Zealand and Fiji, inspired by his interest in The Lord of The Rings. While there, he took a horseback tour of “Middle Earth,” which led him to join with other movie aficionados in an unforgettable, reenactment of The Battle of Helm’s Deep from the second story in the trilogy.

Astronomy is a big passion, but these days John stargazes mainly from the roof of a home he’s renovating in Atlanta’s Ormewood neighborhood. And, if you’re curious, his name is pronounced cop-a-nex. It’s French, by way of Mississippi’s Cajun Country.
