Jennifer is a member of our creative team who single-handedly manages “JS On Demand,” which serves at the whim of various client franchisees who need customized advertisements for their markets. Through this work, Jennifer cranks out as many as 7 to 10 ads per day, talking to small business owners from coast to coast.
She joined our team in 2012 after serving as a Senior Studio Artist at BBDO Atlanta. She previously worked as a Graphic Designer at two smaller shops, handling creative assignments from brochures to packaging to signage.
Jennifer began her career as an elementary school teacher after graduating magna cum laude with a B.A. in Psychology and a Minor in Elementary Education from Rutgers College. She loved the inherent creativity in teaching, but a chance flip of the radio dial changed her course forever. She was on her way to jury duty when she heard a radio promotion about The Art Institute of Atlanta. A little voice told her to remember the phone number, which she called and which eventually led to night studies and her degree in Graphic Design. She later was certified in Web Design at Kennesaw State University, where she remained for six years as a continuing education instructor in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Her work was featured in The Sketchbook Project 2012, a cooperative exhibit that recently toured the U.S. and provided inspiration to thousands of artists online.
A lifelong learner, Jennifer began studying piano and Latin ballroom dancing as an adult, but today she stays on her toes managing the schedules of husband Ric and three young children. Given her married name and her evolution as a designer, you might say her world is happily consumed by all kinds of fonts.
