Jelissa provides day-to-day technical support for the growing JS team, troubleshooting cyber gremlins and overseeing connectivity between our three offices and multiple outposts.

She joined Jackson Spalding after six years supporting large IT operations at Quality Technology Services (QTS) and iVision Inc. Her work at QTS, the second largest data center provider in the country, involved managing offsite corporate infrastructures. At iVision, she led an engineering consulting team.

Jelissa gravitated to computers in high school and continued on that track through technical training at Year Up. She went on to earn an Information Technology Degree from Georgia Military College and is currently pursuing her Computer Information Systems degree at Georgia State. She serves on the board of Year Up Atlanta and has previously mentored multiple young adults in the program.

Jelissa grew up in Atlanta, but was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, which explains her diehard fan love for the Green Bay Packers. Her recreation of choice, though, is basketball, which she’s played for as long as she can remember. Off-court, she stays on the run keeping up with the various activities of her two daughters.
