Eleanor is an Athens-based member of our JS Creative team with more than 20 years of graphic design expertise. She worked at several boutique agencies in Atlanta and ran her own firm for 15 years. Today she feels lucky to be able to live in the Classic City near her husband’s family, yet work for an Atlanta-based firm that allows her to collaborate with regional and national clients.
Favorite past projects have included collateral design and window merchandising for Atlanta’s historic Fox Theatre, logo and collateral design for the Linger Longer Living Cultural Series at Reynold’s Plantation, and full-spectrum corporate identity, including uniforms and signage, for a local orthodontics group. Her experience spans many industries including real estate, retail, not-for-profit and physician practice groups.
Known both as “tiny” and “e” by her close friends, Eleanor can’t imagine being anything other than an artist. She earned her BFA in Graphic Design, graduating cum laude from the University of Georgia. While there, she was recognized with the Alan Kuzmicki/Earl McCutchen Memorial Art Scholarship.
Eleanor grew up in Rome, Georgia and her roots run deep in the South. She is a member of the The National Society of The Colonial Dames of America and has traced her American lineage back to the 1600s. She’s a sustainer in the Junior League of Athens and an active member of the Junior Ladies Garden Club and her church.
She and husband, Alex, enjoy spending time in the outdoors with their daughters, Ella and Lilli. When summer rolls around, that means as much time as possible at Lake Burton, although her dream is to visit Italy if the opportunity arises.
