Eden came to our Dallas office by way of New York City, where she began her career. Her focus is on media relations, a skill she honed while working on behalf of home furnishing clients for Karla Otto, a global public relations firm specializing in luxury fashion and design.
She hurled herself headlong into the-city-that-never-sleeps by accepting a position soon after college as Recruiting Coordinator for Bridgewater Associates, a high-powered hedge fund. While Eden was grateful for a paycheck, she ultimately found her way to Modern Luxury Magazine, where she put her degree to work supporting events for the Sales and Marketing Department.
All told, Eden says her four years in Manhattan provided a valuable foundation that reinforced her confidence, character and contacts. It also rendered some random knowledge, such as how to navigate Fashion GPS, a tracking system that locates designer samples loaned out for magazine photo shoots, and how to act nonchalant when faced with celebrities during Fashion Week.
Eden earned a bachelor’s degree in English as well as Mass Communications from Washington and Lee University. During college she furthered her education as a summer intern with Redbook Magazine and as a reporter with her hometown paper, The St. Augustine Record. She also studied in France at Sorbonne Nouvelle.
A resident of Uptown Dallas, Eden is excited to finally have space to hang all of her clothes, hone her cooking skills and potentially get back in the saddle as an accomplished equestrian.
