Charlie Crose

Charlie picked up a video camera as a young boy and has been behind the lens ever since. He is part of our video crew, shooting and editing – wherever client stories take him.

He’s used to the gig, after spending six years as Director of Photography and Video Editing with First Line Media, a production house that supports a variety of big-name clients. Charlie’s portfolio includes a mix of web videos, commercials and PSAs, many featuring celebrity spokespersons like Dorothy Hamill, Christina Applegate and Anthony Anderson. He even has an IMDb page, thanks to a documentary he shot, Wendover: Out on the Edge, which aired on PBS in 2010. Earlier career stops include production assistant jobs at two smaller studios.

Charlie grew up in Salt Lake City and received his Bachelor’s degree in Film and Media Arts from The University of Utah, which gave him the opportunity to take a class at The Sundance Film Festival. Early on, he thought about filmmaking in Hollywood, but after meeting his Atlanta-based wife in college, he became an East Coast convert, committed to the world of video communications.

Their family, which now includes two young daughters, resides in Marietta, where they are active in their church. Charlie serves as a youth leader to teens every Wednesday night, giving him a free pass to hang with the guys, play sports and watch movies.

Charlie speaks fluent Portuguese after two years living in southern Brazil. He’s well-positioned to continue his world travels, too, since his father-in-law is a pilot.
