DINA PALANI

Dina works in our accounting office, managing accounts payable and assisting with billing. She joined Jackson Spalding in 2011, bringing more than 15 years of accounting and management experience to our team.

A Connecticut native, Dina held a number of positions in her home state before venturing south. She served four years as Office Manager for JL Seaman LLC/Seaman Construction in Norwalk, Ct., a role that had her wearing many hats from accounting to human resources to advertising management.

Working for a public relations and marketing firm feels very familiar to Dina since she began her career as a Senior Accountant at Marketing Corporation of America and spent many years working as Assistant Controller at Market Growth Resources, Inc. and Fusion 5/Added Value, Inc. These marketing promotions firms provided sweepstakes and fulfillment support for Fortune 500 companies, some of which Jackson Spalding partners with today.

Dina earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Sacred Heart University of Fairfield, Ct. and says most of her life up until now was spent within an hour of New York City. She lived for a brief time in Los Angeles while her fiancé was a personal chef, but is delighted to be putting down roots in Atlanta where he now operates a wine bar in Inman Park. They are planning an April 2012 wedding, and it’s a good bet that Italian food will be on the menu, given Dina’s 100 percent northern Italian heritage.
