Accounting Assistant

A talented, part-time Accounting Assistant is needed for our Atlanta office for approximately 20 – 25 hours per week.

About the role

The Accounting Assistant will play a key role with activities for accurate and timely input of information, which is essential to the firm's accounting processes. This talented person will be responsible for processing all accounts payable invoices and all related activities.

  • Reviewing and coding AP invoices and check requests.
  • Ensuring AP invoice approvals.
  • Entering AP invoices into the system.
  • Printing and matching checks to invoices.
  • Ensuring checks are properly signed and processed for mailing.
  • Processing ACH payments.
  • Reconciling and preparing analysis of general ledger expense accounts.
  • Resolving invoice discrepancies.
  • Maintaining vendor files.
  • Preparing W-9s and 1099s.
  • Assisting with billing and collections as necessary.
  • Assisting with other tasks as needed.

Our ideal candidate

  • Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience preferred
  • Ideally 3+ years experience in a professional services environment (i.e., public relations firm, law firm, ad agency, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
  • Must be detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy, good organizational and communication skills
  • Can effectively manage his/her time
  • Has ability to support multiple project initiatives simultaneously

About the role

The Web Architect is the technical leader in shaping the direction of the web development application. This talented person will be responsible for creating high-level technical designs, evaluating new technologies and providing guidance to our clients and members of the digital development team.

This will involve:

  • Participating in development design, code, and client reviews

  • Has a Bachelor's degree in information systems technology, computer science or equivalent experience

About the role

Social media strategy has become a fundamental part of the communications business. We are looking for someone to direct, manage and grow our social media and online media relations services for clients. This will involve:

  • Working with the team to develop and implement social media strategies and initiatives for our clients.
  • Managing teams responsible for building relationships and engaging with communities, online media and key influencers.
  • Managing client relationships.
  • Setting metrics to measure the impact of social media programs and reporting results to clients.
