Toyota Taps Jackson Spalding in Regional Strategy for the Southeast

ATLANTA (Feb. 20, 2013) – Officially announced in an exclusive story from PRWeek, Toyota has selected Jackson Spalding as its PR agency partner for the Southeast, following a competitive review across the region.

Jackson Spalding’s focus will be to strategically position Toyota, Lexus and Scion brands with targeted influencers in the region, using a high-touch, personalized approach.

Jackson Spalding’s selection came by way of a competitive process beginning in April 2012 from a field of more than 20 public relations firms submitting initial responses to an RFI.  The firm presented the pitch to four Toyota representatives in October, going big and small in the same meeting: turning its Midtown Atlanta office into an auto factory, and utilizing a birdhouse as the symbol for a grand idea.
